Tropical Storm Hits Sumatra

Sumatra Island- A tropical storm destroyed more than 58 villages in Sumatra Island in Indonesia on Thursday and 20000 households out of power.

The Indonesian Meteorological Department indicated at 10am that the intensity of the gusts which were heading west would shut the electricity down and destroy the households. The storm was moving 64 meters per second which is a very dangerous storm. They suggested people to evacuate within 4 hours on Thursday. As expected the forecast became a serious problem when the storms hit Sumatra Island which is an island in Western Indonesia. Also, according to the Meteorological Department, there would be another storm in the next 12 hours.

The police report showed that the storm has destroyed more than 58 villages or 20000 households and also cut down all the electricity in Sumatra Island. The cars and vehicles were left obstructively on the road. Besides, the public transportation has been closed, as well as the roads that were cut off due to the trees that fell down. There was a report of 246 people dead. Also, hundreds of people were reported missing. The searching teams are working hard to find them in the areas which were severely affected such as, in Berastagi and Medan which were in the center of the storms.

"We were staying in the house as usual when the storm destroyed my house. We ran out of the house as it was ripping out into pieces. And now we got no place to go." a woman said in grief.

          The officials have evacuated the residents from Sumatra Island after the first storm vanished with the concern of the next storm within 12 hours. However, there were many people who decided to stay due to the worry of their homes. Officials have been convinced them to move to a safer place. The Indonesian government has announced the Island as a storm risk area. 

DIET PILLS KILLS YOUNGEST AMERICAN MODEL

LOS ANGELES-The youngest American super model was killed by diet pills on Monday,1 January 2020.

During 7.30 a.m.-8.00 a.m. on 1 January,2012 the police department of L.A. was reported that there was a girl died in her house by her parents.

It has been reportedly that the girl named Angela Mcqueen died in her house. She is the youngest American supermodel who entered the entertainment industry with the age only 10 year olds. Now, she is 17 year olds.

Her corpse was found by her parents in her bedroom. Her parents were very shocked. Her mother was unconscious when she found her daughter’s corpse on the bed.

“I don’t believe that my daughter will kill herself. I suspect that my daughter was murdered by someone.” she said with sorrow.

From the preliminary investigation, the policeman revealed that “there is no any trail of fighting. But I had founded the bottle of diet pills under her bed. Maybe her dead is caused from diet pills. However, her body will be performed an autopsy again by Andrew Micheall the best autopsy doctor in the U.S.”

The policeman brought Jasper Feego, Angela’s boyfriend to be interrogated because Angela’s neighbor said “I had seen her boyfriend left from her house at early morning and I heard the sound of argument”.

          The policeman investigated Jasper Feego, Angela’s boyfriend. Jasper insisted that “I did not kill Angela” and he also revealed that “We have been couple for 2 years. During last 3 months until now, we always have conflicts many times. So I asked her to change our relationship to be friend but Angela doesn’t consent. Angela has asked me to come back to be in relationship with her again but I don’t want anymore. Last night, she called me to get my stuffs back. I come back to her house to get my stuffs: then; she begged and cried to me. I could not do anything so I left her when she was crying.”

          After the performing an autopsy, mr.Andrew Mcheall, the best autopsy doctor of U.S. reported that “I diagnosed her corpse thoroughly and I found the overdose of substance from diet pills names Blackmores which causes her death. Blackmores, the substance from Diet pills kills her because she had taken it in overdose quantity.”

          “Since she has conflicts with her boyfriend, she looks plump obviously. She does not have too much work like before. Her many works were cancelled because of her weight. She is so stressful and sad but I don’t believe she would take diet pills.” Her father said.

However, her funeral will be taken at Saint Jam Church on Hollywood street. Her fan club can attend her funeral for recalling her for the last time.

Massive Earthquake at Chiangmai Kills 30

CHIANGMAI: A very strong earthquake took place at Chiangmai on Thrusday, March 15, 2012 resulting in thirty people dead and several people injured and homeless.

The Director General of Geology Department of Thailand, Mr. Supoj Kongyu, said that the epicenter of the quake was in Laos having a direct impact on the wide area including Thailand and it was the worst earthquake causing the major damages in Chaingmai.

The earthquake was measured as 7.5 Richter scale and it was the biggest and worst experience of Chiangmai people, he added.

“It was very big. For me, this is the first time having a bad experience about this and it was such a terrible moment that we struggled to survive because of the severe quake”, eyewitness said.

She also added that the terrifying shaking lasted about 20 seconds and was followed by several aftershocks.

Mr. Surin Jongjaiyut, the Governor of Chiangmai, stated there was no sign and warning from any sections of the severe earthquake. The consequence of the quake resulted in at least 30 people dead, several people injured, and hundreds of people homeless because of their buildings’ collapse.

“It is very difficult to control my mind when I had to see the ruins. And I don’t know where to stay for tonight because my home was already destroyed”, another victim said.

Mr. Surin also added that a number of the dead would continually increase because there are still some being trapped under the rubble of flattened buildings. And it’ll be stable when we stop searching.

Ms. Wanutchaporn Srinuan, the national archeologist, claimed that the ancient remains and Chedi at Doi Suthep were also severely destroyed by the powerful earthquake which they had to take a long time to repair.

Reports said that the powerful quake also left a lot of people in the outage. Trains, buses, and airplanes stopped providing service as well as the mobile connectivity in quake-hit areas.

Ms. Yinluck Shinnawatra, the Prime Minister, has announced the state of emergency in Chiangmai in order to handle with the impact of the quake and asked for Thai people to mourn over the dead person.

Flooding hit Oyoyo in Africa, after 1day raining

Africa- After it has been raining more than 24 hours in Oyoyo city of Africa, it caused flooding all over the city.

Thunderstorm hit all over areas of Oyoyo city at midnight on 1 March, 2012. Level of water has increased continuously. The governor said  “level of water would rising to overwhelm houses  if the rains would not stop raining and all houses would be inundated”.

 “More than 1,000 households were cut off and 2,000 residents evacuated” the mayor of Oyoyo reported at 7.a.m. of 2 March, 2012. He also warned “the left households have been forced to evacuate as soon as possible without worried about their belongings”.

 According to the aerial, the level of water would be high to 2 meters. It looked like an inland sea. Oyoyo Metropolitan Administration (OYMA) declared “Now, the Oyoyo city is in the red zones,”

The governor said “Seven schools were closed and three hospitals had been evacuated”. Two coma patients had reportedly been dead during being transferred to another town due to the infection of the bacteria from flooding.

Flooding causes the disease named “A3” which can outbreak person to person by touching or using items together. OYMA warned “People should wear boots and not use items by unnecessary with others. Every households should follow his suggestion and move to the temporary center which the government of Oyoyo had provided.”

“Now Death toll reached 300 people and 129 were lost. The government of Oyoyo has to cut off the electricity because most of people died by being shocked from electricity.” the Government of Oyoyo reported.

“The aid is quite difficult to sent relief supplies bags because every road is paralyzed by flooding.” the government of Oyoyo said.

The Oyoyo city has never been flooding before because it is the droughty area. It might be the effect of global warming. 

Three hurt from bomb in Bangkok

BANGKOK: Three people were wounded –a woman and two men– in the bombing situation taking place in the central of Bangkok after a man-made bomb were laid, authorities said.

The incident took place on Friday at 10.00 am when a lot of people were in a special event of promoting a new car on the central ground in front of Central Department Store. Police said the bomb was set ablaze via a SIM card in the mobile phone and it wounded three people.

When it exploded, a crowd of people run fast to save their lives and three people, a woman and two men, were rushed to Chulalongkorn Hospital, witnesses said.

“It was such a very dreadful moment that we did not need to remember. We first heard the bang, and then, we saw many people rushing as a chaos to survive. However, we were still lucky because no one died from this situation”, witnesses added.

Mr. Somsak Doodee, the head of Police Commissioner Bangkok, said it was not clear who was behind and the cause of explosion, but he found a crucial piece of evidence similar to the bomb which took place in the South.

He also added a female victim was seriously injured because she had to lose her right leg due to the bomb. And the others were little suffered by a piece of bombing shrapnel in the torso and both legs.

The Vice Minister of Interior, Mr. Jongruk Suwannaphakdee, claimed that even though the true cause was not clear, the main cause would be the insurgency terrorism made by the same group of terrorist in the southern part of Thailand because the material of a man-made bomb was in common.

Police officials also added that insurgents most chose the locations where there were a lot of people as target areas to make bomb attacks since they really wanted to kill a large number of people in one time to expose their opinion against the government.

Teenagers arrested on fighting with ecstasy possession.

Ratchadaphisek-Three teenagers had ecstasy arrested after fighting in a club on Ratchadaphisek road last night. 

Three teenagers were arrested after they had a fight in a club. "While they were drinking and dancing, I saw the first guy bumped against another guy which made him so mad. They had a fight before a friend of the first guy tried to compromise. It was not succeeded. They all argued then punched each other. One of them got hit by a whiskey bottle on the head. And the blood was all over."  A witness said.

A guard told the reporter that one of them got hit by a whiskey bottle which knocked him down. He was later sent to the hospital. Even though he tried to separate them, they did not seem to calm down, so the guard called the police. According to the police report, a police officer tried to compromise another two guys but they were all so drunk. The police took urine drug test on those guys and found that they had taken ecstasy which made them easily get mad.  

The reporter, Anna Graceman, said that they were all sent to the police station to be under detention before being charged for drug abuse and possession and fighting. The other one who was in the hospital will also stay under detention as soon as he recovers. 

Sterard assaulted, after Big Match

              

                KENDUCKY- Sterard Gerven , the football player of Red Swan was assaulted by football fans of White Goose, after big football match had finished.

                The Red Swan won the Championship of Premier League 2012 with 2 scores while the White Goose lost with 1 score. The Red Swan won the match with Sterard’s Penalty. It caused football players and fans of White goose were not satisfied.  After the match, there was a fight between Red swan and White goose players because of Sterard’s penalty. Luckily, no one was severe injured.

                On Friday 2, December 2012 around 12 p.m. , on the way home of Steven after the Big match finished between Red Swan and White goose had finished, he dropped at gas station to get some drinks, he was assaulted by a middle-aged man.

                “There is a man who ages around 30 years old charges and punches Sterard. He falls down to the fall and becomes unconscious. ”  gas station attendant said.

                Later, Sterard was sent to the hospital by the witness and a man was arrested by the policeman.

                “ Sterard is  safe but he has to recheck his brains again because his head hit the floor severely. He has to recover for 4 months.” the doctor of Ducky hospital said.

                “He lost about 5,000$ because he bets on White Goose. He becomes being penniless because of his greedy and anger. He apologizes to Sterard.” Peter Jackson, a middle-aged man  confessed.

                Previously, Peter Jackson tried to threaten money from his friends but he didn’t get enough money to pay for the gambling. He was more stressful and pressure. He followed the trail of Steven from the stadium to the gas station until he had a chance to attack him.

                Peter Jackson would be imprison for 2 years with the allegation of harassment and gambling.

                

Jump off the building, girl died

     Rangsit- A girl student from an institute in Rangsit area jumped off from a building rented near her university on Thursday due to the boy issue. 

    The reporter indicated that the incident happened around 4:30 on thursday. It shocked the people who were walking in the area. The police rushed into the crime scene at 4:35. The building is 10floor high which her room was on the 8th floor. However, she jumped off from the roof deck of the building. The police investigation showed that there's no trace of fighting neither in her room nor on the roof deck. So they concluded the incident as committing a suicide. The victim suddenly died in the crime scene. Her body will later be taken to the hospital to perform an autopsy.  

    After the officers asked the girl's close friend, they found that the girl was in stress because of her boyfriend. He has been dating another girl which was later known. The victim always fought with her boyfriend over this issue which sometimes she was beaten. However, the victim could not get over him which caused her in stress. Finally, she committed a suicide by jumping off the building. "she had been my best friend since we were young, i can't believe she would do anything like this" her best friend said.  

    The police officers called up her boyfriend to investigate. He admitted that they were having a problem, but he had no idea that she would commit a suicide. "i am in shock to know that this will actually causes someone to death, especially, to the one i loved." he said.  Also, the officer called the dead's parents to report their daughter's death. Her parents rushed into the hospital. They bursted into tears when they saw their daughter's body in the middle of her friends who were in sorrow.  The autopsy result showed that the dead had fractured ribs which seriously damaged her lungs and other important internal organs. It caused her to death immediately.  The parents said in grief that they would take the body back to Nonthaburi, their home town, tomorrow to perform a funeral ceremony. Also, they warned other people to think carefully before doing something that would break the loved ones' hearts.

Hundreds of students absent from school as protest

BANGKOK: A hundred student of Srinakharinwirot University in Bangkok has been absent from their school for a week to protest against their teachers due to giving a lot of homework.

The Assistant Professor Doctor Chalermchai Boonyaleephan, the President of Srinakharinwirot University, said that there are more 100 students who have been absent for a week to turn against their teachers because they are all not pleased with a lot of given assignments which is due to submit by this week. And most of protesters are the fourth-year students who are about to graduate in two months.

He also indicated that he always received tons of students’ letters which complained about this issue and asked for the decrease of homework which continually gave to them. He expected that students cannot stand with their teachers so they do like this.

The chief of Srinakharinwirot University Teachers Federation, Doctor Sutassi Samutkhochorn, stated that giving assignments to students is very appropriate because students must practice what they learned in class and teachers always evaluatefrom the students’ assignment. In addition, she said that each assignment is a part of lessons that every student have to finish before graduation and students should not have done like this.

However, one of protesters claimed that the Student Council of Srinakharinwirot University had been thinking for a long time about taking some measures to express their feeling before they made a final decision. They had a meeting several times with their group to find out the way to solve the problem; for example, they asked for their teachers to decrease an assignment each week since they had other works from other subject at the same time, and they already tried to negotiate with their teachers but it was not successful.

“We have tried our best to talk with our teachers, but it was not achievable. And teachers did not realize that giving a lot of home work makes us under stress and we seldom get enough sleep because we have to submit assignments on time. They seldom knew that we were so stressful that we could commit suicide”, some students said on Friday.

Mr. Chalearmchai also claimed that he has just formed the temporary committee to investigate the true cause so that he can get the conclusion to solve the problem and students will come back to study soon.
