Review : Naked2 palette eye shadows from unban decay

Do you like to put eye shadows on your eyes? Which eye shadows do you like most? Have you ever heard about NAKED eye shadows? I am going to review the marvelous eye shadows to you. I wish everyone enjoy reading my review. Let’s see….

Naked is the name of eye shadows palette from Urban Decay www.urbandecay.com where is the cosmetic shop only in U.S. There are various of cosmetics here but the best seller product is “Naked” eye shadows palette. I am going to review the latest Naked palette. Its name is “Naked2”. Naked2 palette is adapted from the first palette. It was released on earlier of December, 2011. 5,000 pieces were sold out on Urban Decay’s website in one day. How’s amazing of it!!!

\

How are the differences between Naked1 and Naked2?

1. Packaging – The packaging of former Naked is velvet. It looks luxurious. In contrast, Naked 2 is made from metal.  It’s stronger from the original Naked.Naked2 palette has the larger mirror.

2. Price – The prices of both palette are not quite different. The original Naked is 48$ or about 1,440฿ while the Naked 2 is 50$ or 1,550฿.

3. Tones- The original palette has only brown and light tones (warm tones) but the Naked 2 has more light metallic shades as well as more medium greigey-taupey colors. In Naked 2, there are more matte colors and cool tones. There are 5 new colors which are Foxy, Chopper, Pistol ,Verve and Blackout.

Here’s a close-up of shade colors from the left to the right….
Foxy-  A matte creamy bisque with a matte finish
Half-Baked - A golden bronze with a shimmery finish
Bootycall – A shimmery cork( very similar to Virgin from the original Naked palette)
Chopper – A copper shimmer with silver micro glitter
Snakebite –A dark bronze shimmer with a metallic base
Suspect – A pale golden beige with a shimmery finish
Pistol – A light grayish brown with a shimmery finish
Verve – An oyster with a shimmery finish
YDK- A cool bronze shimmer r with a metallic base
Busted –A deep brown with a shimery finish
Balckout – A blackest with a matte finish

4. Premium – In original palette, there is free eye primer which is help your eyes shadow to be long-wearing. In Naked 2 palette, there is Lip Junkie lip gloss which is a sheer shimmery pinky neutral lip gloss (nude color). I don’t like this lip gloss because it is quiet sticky.

5. Brush – In original palette, eye shadows brush ha only one side which is eye shadows brush; in other hand, there is double-ended brush in Naked2 which are eye shadows brush and blending brush. Blending brush can be used to blend V-shape as well.

Pros :
There are many shade of colors so if you buy only one palette, you can have many looks by 1 palette as neutral look, smokey look, etc.

Cons :
- Because there is no available Urban Decay shop in Thailand so its price is quite expensive. Its price will be charged up to 2,300฿. If you want to buy this product, you have to pre order it from Thai’s retailer website.
-There are only brown tones, which are the warm tone, in this palette. It’s better to have cool tones because you can more make up in many looks.

Which one do you like most?

endurable lock
For me I like both of these palettes but I prefer buying Naked 2 palette over the orginal for many reasons as …
1. The packaging and the colors. Its packaging is more durable and clean. It’s not easy dirty.  This palette is easy to carry on. It’s suitable when I go to travel because it contains many colors in 1 palette and the mirror is larger.
2. It is useful for me because I just start to make up. There are neutral colors which is easy to make up.
3. The blackout color can be use instead of eyeliner.
4. I like the colors of this palette because there are more matte colors and less shimmer colors.
5. Both ends of the brush are synthetic bristles. It can used to shade, contour and blend colors in 1 brush.

Were you the lucky one who owned the Naked palette from 5,000 pieces? If you are not the lucky one and want to own one,  you just wait. The second stock will be release to the retailer store as Sephora store soon and it will be available in international stores on Febuary. But if you already owned the original one, it’s not necessary to own both because it is very similar. I  highly recommended this palette because of the high quality.  I am assure that it’s worthy to your money. I wish my review will be useful. Thanks for reading my blog. :)

How to do everyday makeup

Hi there
thx for ur comments on my last post :)
i hope u guys learned how to color your own eye brows already.

Today I'm gonna do how to do everyday makeup.
it is something that i would do when I want my day to be easy.
it does help me look fresh and bright all the time.

When i don't make up, i always feel like a zombie.
So... It's better to make up a lil bit just to look ok.

Some of you might want to make up by yourself, but it might be hard for those who are beginners.
I know that using eye shadow is not easy, especially when you want your face to look natural.
The very easy way to use eye shadow for natural looking is using brown shadow.

After i put on all of my skin cares and waited a bit to let it dry, i'll put on some pressed powder from MAC (studio fix).
i don't like BB cream or foundation on my usual day coz i would be too thick.
however, if some of you have problems with your skin, u could use some foundation
Big has reviewed Nars sheer glow on his blog. Check it out!

Get back to my makeup style.

Here are easy steps to make up by your own.

1. Apply pressed powder by dusting your face gently with the brush to cover all areas evenly.

When i use pressed powder, i don't like to use with the powder puff.
i usually use the brush (Large powder - F30)

the powder from MAC makes my face smooth and flawless. it is powder with foundation so it gives me a full-coverage finish.

2. apply light eye shadow(1) all over your eye lids. I use the shadows from MAC. You can use your fingertip or a brush in this step.

3. Apply the dark brown shadow(3) (MAC) with the brush (Sigma Pencil E-30)on the crease of the eye. If you want a natural look, make sure it's not too dark.

4. Apply the brown shadow on your lower lids.

5.Curl your eye lashes with three steps (bottom, middle, top)

6. Apply mascara. I always use majolica. It's my favorite! It gives me long lashes and natural look.

7. Then I'm gonna start coloring my eyebrow like I show you in the last post.
I use Kate eyebrow with a brush from sigma (Small angle- E65).

    A. Mark where you want your brow to begin and end.
    B. Color the brow with brow color. Start from the arch to the end of the brow.
    C. Continue coloring from the arch to the bottom. Make sure the bottom is lighter than the other areas.

8. Apply blush on your cheek.
I use smashbox blush(Soft light) with a Sigma brush(F-40). The shimmer makes my face look so bright. Also, the light pink color makes me look healthy. So I really recommend this blush.

and..... I'm ready to go!

See? There are only 8 steps.
It's very easy to do everyday makeup. just remember that try to make it as natural as impossible.
Don't apply too much shadow or blush!

the cosmetics above are just something that i like and think that they will suit me best.
if you have the cosmetics that you think they're perfect for you, go ahead and use them!
Just try not to put on too much make up.

I hope you enjoyed my post :)
Thx for visiting..

Review: Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder

Hi all my followers, I again have a chance today to review such a nice makeup item that I believe you have heard the name of it for a long time. It's the loose setting powder from Laura Mercier. I hope all of you will gain some useful knowledge and have fun when u are reading this post :)

Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder ($34 or 1,590 Baht for 29 grams) is considered as the best of the best loose setting powder of the world by a large number of worldwide makeup artists. With an absolutely lightweight, smooth, and silky loose powder, it contains the uniquely beneficial ingredient giving you a 'soft-focus' appearance for fine lines and imperfections.

It has really been my favorite loose powder since I first started using it. It's very fine and smooth that can nicely set my foundation and my makeup throughout the day and it also controls well oil on my face. Moreover, as I said above, the soft and featherweight texture of this product is so great so you can be sure that you'll never feel heavy over foundation.

What I liked this product:

  • The texture is not caking or curdling unlike other powders I've tried so you don't have to worry about this problem.
  • There are 3 shades of this powder: translucent, ivory, and beige so I think 3 shades would suit for any tones of skin. However, I fully recommend you check out 'translucent' though it looks kinda white in the container, it's very truly translucent because it's suitable for any color skins and never makes your skin tone too light or too dark.
  • One thing worth mentioning is the excellent oil control ability because it stopped me from getting oily on face. But if you have very oily skin, you should touch you face up after using it 4-6 hours later.
  • I really love this product since the ability of setting my makeup the whole day. After applying foundation and concealer, I always set them with this great product as it helps my makeup stay on my face without greasy or shimmery look.
  • There's no scent or perfume as the ingredients which is a good thing of loose powder so you can be sure of not being allergic to it.
  • In terms of ingredients, I have acne-prone skin, so a concern with this product is that the Talc contained in it may cause pimples, but I haven't experienced any new pimples yet.

What I didn't like this product:

  • I don't like the packaging because it's quite messy to open and it's kinda difficult to carry on outside.
  • There's no puff or sponge in the box or container so you have to buy it separately which costs around 350 Baht. However, if you have the powder brushes, you can use it with this loose powder. Applying it with powder brushes gives you more lightweight and natural look, but I recommend you use puff if you have oily skin because it lasts longer and control well oil on you face than using brushes.
  • As we are still a student, we can't earn money for a living so I think 1,590 Baht is quite pricey. However, let's hunt it down if you can afford because it's worth for sure.
  • If you have scars or pimples on face, I have to say sorry for this product that is not the right one. It's very lightweight so it can't really conceal any pimples or scars

.

Finally, I highly recommend such a great loose powder to anyone who's looking for the best natural and featherweight loose powder without any shimmery or glittery bits. It'll absolutely keep you feeling fresh all day and minimize oil on your face so you can be sure that your makeup stays the entire day. Even though it's expensive a bit as we're still a student, it's advisable to purchase this makeup item because we can use it for a long time.

For this product, I have rated it 4 out of 5 points because I think it gave me more advantages than disadvantages. 1 point was deducted from its packaging and price. I hope everyone will love this product as me when you get a chance to try using and I think I'll probably keep buying this item unless I find something better. Let's check it out!

How to get natural-looking eyebrows

Hi again guys!!

i hope my last post gave u lots of good information.
First of all i'd like to thank to those who read my post and commented on it.
I'm glad to know how you think.
Also, i'd like you to request for any cosmetic review or how to.
and I'll try to do it.

Today, i'm gonna show you how to get natural-looking eyebrows by coloring them.

These are the items that i use to color my eye brown.

1. Kate eyebrow

           2. Sigma Small angle- E65

Firstly, you need to know where your brows are going to start and end. See the picture below? That's a guideline for your brows.

This is how my eye brow look like.

Now i'm gonna start coloring the eye brow.
There are only three steps.

1. Mark where you want the brow to begin and end.

2. Use the brush with the brow color. It will look more natural than using a brow pencil. I use small angle - E65 from Sigma.
Start coloring at the arch(B) of the brow to the end(C).
(This is how I start.)

3. color the first half of the brow from the arch(B) all the way down to the bottom (A). Make sure the bottom is lighter then other areas. If it is too dark, it will give you a hard look which is not natural.

This is a very easy way to get natural-looking brows!

You should use the color which match your skin tone. Also, the shapes of your eye brows are different from each other. You should find the right shape so that it would suit your face. More importantly!, make sure you follow the guideline of the brow shape above.

Thank you!

How to clean up cosmetics from your face deeply?

How many steps do you have to clean your face after putting on cosmetics?
Can you clean up all cosmetics?
Do you know the effects if you cannot remove all cosmetics? It will cause acne on your face easily. I know everyone don’t like to have acne, so do I. Using only water or facial soap is not enough for removing cosmetics. I am going to review how to clean up cosmetics from your face deeply. Anyone who make up or put on UV protection cream should read my review.
First of all, you have to prepare make up remover, cotton puff, cotton bud, cleansing oil or cleansing milk or cleansing balm, facial soap or facial foam or facial gel, facial sponge, facial towel or diaper, toner.

Step 1 : Cleaning point make up
1. Putting make up remover which contains oily water and water on 2 cotton puffs.
2. Putting 2 cotton puffs with making up remover on your eyes for 3 to 5 minutes and then removing them to each side of your eyes.
3. If you want to remove intensive mascara or eyeliner, you should use cotton puff with making up remover and put it under your eyes. Then you use cotton bud to remove intense mascara or eyeliner on cotton puff.
4. If you put on intense lipstick color, you should put cotton puff with lips remover on your lips.

Q : Why we have to use make up remover?
A : Because the ingredients of some cosmetics cannot be cleaned with facial soap. Using eyes remover nourishes skin around your eyes from intensive remover mascara. For using lips remover helps  to remove pigments which cause your lips from being dark.

Step 2 : Cleaning base make up
It’s how to remove powder or cream from your face and then dirt which left in your pore. The dirt is the cause of acnes.
1. Using cleansing balm, cleansing oil or cleansing milk to clean base make up.
2. Massaging the cleansing around your face 5 to 15 minutes. (Fat from cleansing will remove the dirt from your skin.)
3. Using much water to wash your face.

Tips :
When using facial milk, you have to massage from white cream until it becomes oily translucent. Otherwise cosmetics will be left on your face, it causes acnes. After that wiping it with facial paper or cotton puff  or sponge sheet  or facial towel with warm water. Then washing your  face with facial washing.

Step 3 : Cleansing your face with facial washing
1. Using facial soap or liquid soap or facial foam or facial gel to wash your face.
2. Using facial sponge makes your face feel more cleaned.
3. Washing your face with much water.
4. Using facial towel to absorb water from your face, don’t use the facial towel to scrub your face.

Tips :
1. Liquid soap is used for sensitive skin.
2. If you have oily skin, it’s better to use facial gel.
3. Hot water help your pore to be opened and cool water help your pore to be closed.
4. Using diaper is better than facial towel.

Step 4: Toner
Using toner makes at last is to make sure that your face is cleaned. Your face doesn’t have any dirt left.
1.Using cotton puff with toner massages your face after your face  is done washing.
2. Wiping half of your face is to make sure you clean everywhere of your face.

Q : Why we have to use toner?
A : Toner is not only water but it consist of a few alcohol which can purify the hangover dirt. Toner is the last water which is very clean. There are 2 types of alcohol ; toner with alcohol and toner without alcohol.
Q : How to choose toner?
A: Putting toner on your arm, you will feel itch or irritate if you are allergic to it.

These are 4 steps to clear up acne and dirt from your face easily. Don't putting on cosmetics overnight. Washing your face at least 2 times a day ; in the morning and at night. Following my steps, your face will be freshen and younger again. Thanks you for visiting my blog. Please leave your comments or suggestions or reviews to improve my blog.

Review: NARS Sheer Glow Liquid Foundation

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation ($42 or 1,650 Baht for 30 ml) is considered as a satin-finish and buildable coverage foundation. It could probably be a beneficial skincare when you use it regularly to brighten and improve your skin texture. It's a light coverage foundation which you can build it as light to medium coverage so you can choose it if you wanna look natural because it's not heavy. Even though it's especially formulated for people whose skin is dry to normal, it works perfectly for my oily-combination skin; therefore, it would suit for every type of skin. As you know, it's named as 'sheer glow foundation', but it's not too sheer and glowy at all; that is, it's not shimmery nor greasy.

Wh
at I liked this product:

  • It's a watery texture so you can easily apply it by both your fingers and foundation brush.

  • If you are looking for a light to medium coverage, it's the best choice for you since it moderately camouflages your blemishes on your face. I guarantee it's not too heavy for sure.

  • It works great if you want your look to be dewy but it doesn't make your face oily or greasy like other brand products.

  • My skin is absolutely oily but this stays on my face the whole day though it's a liquid foundation.

  • It's completely fragrance-free so you can be sure of not being allergic to it.

What I didn't like this product:

  • It costs around 1,650 Baht without the foundation pumper that means you have to separately buy the pumper which costs 300 Baht. So, it could have been a little more thoughtful for me to put in a pump. I mean seriously I would have to buy the pump eventually, but for now I just put my fingers on the lip of the bottle and apply it with foundation brush.

  • It doesn't work well if you apply it with a sponge because of its watery texture.

  • The cap of the bottle, a NARS trademark, is always made of matte rubber. Even though it's classy, it's not practical since it's prone to be a dirt and a smudge magnet so it's kinda difficult to clean.

  • The color shade of NARS Sheer Glow Foundation is confusing a bit. As you can see the showing picture, I found something unusual that Ceylan is actually lighter than Fiji, considering that Fiji is described as 'light' and Ceylan is described as 'light to medium' on the NARS website so it really made me confused.

I highly recommend such a great foundation to anyone who is looking for the best dewy foundation (at least for me haha) with light to medium coverage. Though its price is kinda expensive, you can use it for a long time and the effect is really gorgeous so it's very worth buying it. Honestly, I'm absolutely in love with this product. Unless I find something better, I'll buy this again for sure! Let's check it out at www.narscosmetics.com or every department store.

PS. Every your comment and suggestion is really useful for me to improve my next blog.
